Jimmy Garcia is now into his tenth year on the South Bank with Jimmy's BBQ Club. For something that was originally billed as a pop-up, that's one hell of a run. But as he hits the decade mark, he's decided to change things up. So he's getting ready to launch Rotate by Jimmy, and as that title might clue you in, this time it's all about rotisserie cooking.
Rotisserie chicken will be the main deal here, and they'll be front and centre in the restaurant so even if you're just strolling down the South Bank, you'll be able to see the chickens in the oven. We can see that tempting in quite a few people. To go with the chicken, available whole, half or quartered, they'll also have dips that include a salsa verde made with herbs from the London Herb Company as well as a blue cheese dip made with Oxford Blue. On the side, they'll have chicken-dripping potatoes made with British Pink Fir potatoes, truffle fries and more.
And as well as the main event, there will be a chicken caesar bap and on the vegan side there will be "The Wingman" which is charred cauliflower with lemon and herbs.
They're also shaking up the restaurant itself and say that "every table now enjoys a fantastic riverside view". So if you find yourself looking for something decent on the South Bank (and that can be hard sometimes), this is well worth a look.
