Clifton Nurseries Café
5A Clifton Villas, London W9 2PH
My idea of heaven - plants, coffee and a plate of something delicious. Tucked inside a beautiful glasshouse, this is my go-to place to be among greenery and flowers as I love gardening. The cafe in the garden centre has really good food too!
The Hero
55 Shirland Rd, London W9 2JD
My first choice for a relaxed local evening. The Hero is classic, cosy and exactly what a pub should be - unfussy, friendly, and always reliable for good British food and a glass (or two) of something cold.
Sushi Murasaki
35 Lauderdale Rd, London W9 1SX
Understated, intimate and high-quality produce. Murasaki is where I go for precise, simple Japanese cooking - I love their donburi sets, and everything is beautifully presented.
Tsiakkos & Charcoal
5 Marylands Rd, London W9 2DU
One of my favourite Greek places - properly grilled meat, generous mezze, and cold beer. It’s vibrant, slightly chaotic and in the best possible way.
Real Drinks Co
4 Formosa St, London W9 1EE
A brilliant independent shop and tasting room with an incredible wine selection and great snacks. I go for their soft, elegant Pomerol red wine but they also have an exciting beer selection too.
Paulette
350 Harrow Rd, London W9 2HT
Paulette is a lovely French Bistro near Little Venice that I love. The restaurant is inspired by the founders' grandmothers, so it feels very traditional and is a great stop for buttery classics and a glass of something rich. I'm a big fan of their confit duck leg and vanilla crème brûlée.
