Like a lot of Londoners, we've been obsessed with Panadera since it opened. There's something about their ube matcha lattes and sandos that we just can't get enough of. So when we heard that the same team is planning something special for Westfield White City, we paid attention.
Toasteé is the latest opening for Florence Mae Maglanoc of Panadera and Donia, together with chef Adrian Kyle Felipe, and this one is all about French toast and Filipino flavours. There will be three signature toasts: ube jam, matcha ganache and Milo cookies & cream. If you want a classic serve, they'll also do it with butter and maple syrup and they're promising to put on various seasonal specials too.
Ube is also at the heart of the offering, with Adrian promising speciality foam drinks like Ube Milk, Ube Foam Matcha, Ube Latte and Ube Horchata. And if the good weather persists into autumn, you'll want to try their ice cream flavours like miso caramel and pandan coconut.
The Westfield cafe will be a smallish place with room for just 15 people to sit in. But we feel fairly confident in saying this is going to be a huge opening for the West London mall.
