Potentially in time for the next London heatwave, there is some delicious news on the way for fans of icy, nutritious treats: Go Greek Yogurt is crossing the globe to open a site in Mayfair.
The brand already has fans worldwide, with outlets across the US, as well as the Middle East, so you may have already encountered its creations, spanning smoothies to fresh and frozen bowls with myriad toppings plus the occasional special-occasion collab (Greek yoghurt with Meredith Marks Diamond Ossetra Caviar, anyone?).
The company now has a mini empire of self-serve yoghurt bars and made-to-order restaurants, with ‘Master Yogurtiers’ creating protein- and probiotic-rich items. Go Greek Yogurt’s NYC opening in April reportedly had queues down the block, so you can expect similar scenes in London.
Feeling froyo FOMO? There won’t be too long to wait. The London iteration of Go Greek Yogurt will take over the former Love Cocoa site on South Molton Street, where you’ll find self-service frozen-yoghurt machines, a made-to-order yoghurt bar, as well as indoor and outdoor dining.
Assuming the menu is similar to LA’s offerings, you can expect classic and frozen yoghurts, Greek bowls, smoothies and spoon sweets.
And with such celebrity fans as Jennifer Aniston, Blake Lively and the Kardashians, this may well be a spot for a bit of international celebrity spotting over your YogoMatcha.
