With food halls in Sheffield and Manchester, Blend Family have moved down to London for their latest opening. Tower Bridge Collective features 13 traders and two bars in a spot that isn't currently blessed with that many street food options. They've taken over a space that's just off Shad Thames within steps of the southern side of the bridge.
And with a food list that features both Northern and London-based traders, it sounds like it genuinely has something new to offer this city's food scene. As for those traders, here's a cheat sheet on who they're launching with:
- Chocolate Bar by Bullion - a bean-to-bar chocolatier who makes the chocolate for the Roald Dahl Museum
- Leopard Pie - Cult Manchester pizza folk. Get their honey butter ring.
- Baity - Palestinian dishes, with a 72-hour hummus a must-have
- Clapping Seoul - Korean fried chicken
- Mae Thai - Bold home-cooked Thai food
- Jimmy's Burgers - Passion project using Ginger Pig beef with their Oklahoma burger a big draw
- +84 - Vietnamese banh mi
- Fuego 1987 - Cali street food meets Mexican American fusion. Must try? Their hot Cheetos-crusted mac n cheese bites
- Inamo Sukoshi - sibling brand to Inamo sushi with dragon rolls and chicken katsu curry their signature dishes
- House of Habesha - Eritrean/Ethiopian fusion food - everything from curries to stews.
- Sapore - Italian all the way, think schiacciata sandwiches, risotto and gnocchi
- Thatziki - Greek street food
- Lakshmi's Indian Kitchen - Reinventing Indian street food.
Spread across two floors, in addition to the kitchens, there are two bars and even a children's play area. Sounds like somewhere worth checking out.
