The current smashburger craze shows no sign of slowing down and a brand new addition (at least to this country) has just arrived in Victoria. HBR first started in Kuwait, and this London opening is their first overseas.
It's a mix of smashburgers and chicken burgers, with the menu including:
- The OG – double smashed patties, melted cheese and pickles
- Double Trouble - described as "a cheesy, saucy twist on the original smash"
- Chick Flick and Classy Chick - their chicken burgers
- The Shroom - Not a veggie burger as you might suspect, but a beef patty loaded with mushrooms and Swiss cheese
On the side are curly fries, onion rings, and jalapeño bites with cookies, brownies and sundaes to finish. London's burger scene is pretty vibrant and competitive at the moment, so we'll have to see if HBR manages to break through.
