Top New York bar Dante is popping up in Claridge's for a month

Caffe Dante has had quite a history in New York, having originally been established back in 1915. However, its current iteration launched as Dante back in 2015, and the restaurant and  bar have since won heaps of accolades in the decade since.

But if you haven't managed to make it over to New York to check it out, Dante is coming to London instead. It'll be taking over the bar at Claridge's restaurant for all of July, led by Linden Pride and Nathalie Hudson the husband-and-wife duo behind Dante.

Drinks-wise, they'll be putting on their signatures like the Dante Garibaldi with "fluffy orange juice" and a Chocolate Negroni ‘fountain’ made with Botanist gin, Campari, Punt e Mes, crème de cacao and chocolate bitters. On the food front, there will be Dante X Claridge’s Sliders, a shrimp cocktail and the Dante Burger with smoked bacon, pickled beets, new school American cheese, tomato, spicy mayo and lettuce. Like the New York original, they'll do brunch too, with stacks of buttermilk pancakes and banana bread with ricotta and honey.

So if you've always fancied trying Dante, this is work marking in the calendar.
