Latin American restaurant Tigermilk is big in in France and now it's coming to London

They have multiple restaurants across France (as well as one in Brussels) and now French restaurant group Tigermilk are getting ready to open in London too. But much how fellow French restaurant group Big Mamma is actually all about Italian food, this French import looks to Latin America for its food.

Opening in one of the new development spaces on Charing Cross Road, it's a big space (fitting in 130 people) and they say the menu takes its inspiration from across Latin America (although the ones across The Channel are more specifically "Mexican-inspired").

Planned for the menu over here, along with table-side made guacamole, are:

  • Chipotle-marinated T-bone, marinated for 12 hours in agave
  • Slow-cooked cochinita pibil tacos
  • Dorade ceviche with strawberries
  • Rocoto-glazed lamb shoulder for sharing

Desserts include a maracuyá tiramisu with passionfruit and cream and a dulce de leche cheesecake. Drinks-wise, expect cocktails like Hibiscus Margaritas, lots of tequila and mezcal and a wine list from France and South America.

The restaurants do seem to be very popular in France, so we'll have to see if this takes off here too.
