You may have come across Earl’s Serious Sandwiching at various festivals or markets over the past few years. But now the sarnie street food spot is moving to more permanent quarters in the City.

Situated, incredibly aptly on Crown Place, off Earl St (behind Liverpool Street) the new place is the brainchild of Joe Gray, who trained up with Jamie Oliver's Fifteen and got help from the Prince's Trust in putting his business together.

We've been hearing nice things about popular street food CLAW, so hearing that it's coming indoors for the winter with a residency in the City is good news. They'll be starting a one month weekend brunch residency at Fish Market (just opposite Liverpool St Station) serving up all that lovely seafood they've built their reputation on. Fans of Masterchef: The Professionals better sort out a booking pronto to judge Monica Galetti's latest London pop-up. She'll be putting on a special menu at Searcys The Gherkin in the New Year. For a series of dates between January and February Monica's set lunch and dinner menu will be on offer - which means the normally private members club on floors 39 and 40 will be opening to the public.

Popular Korean restaurant group On The Bab is about to open another place. Their fourth restaurant will be right by St Paul's, but this place will be essentially a takeaway site with a few tables for eat-in.
