No more wandering around Mayfair looking for somewhere that won't break the budget to eat at - this Roman-style pasta spot is promising fresh pasta at a less punchy price.

Following a £3m makeover this Marble Arch Hotel is being transformed into a luxury property where the restaurant and bar are promising a full Japanese experience.

They describe themselves as "A coffee shop with food from the Middle East" - but the torrent of love and affection for Nandine on social media proves they're more than simply somewhere to grab a coffee and a snack. This South London kitchen is a family-run affair. Pary Baban is the lynchpin of the operation and she's ably served by her husband Pola as well as sons Rang and Raman.

The huge Standard hotel comes with not one, but two ground floor drinking spaces. Run by ex-Pachamama chef Adam Rawson, there will be Isla (focusing on British coastal cuisine) and the more British pub/dive bar Double Standard.
