London's Rathbone Square will be the first European opening for this cool coffee chain which originated as a one man spot in Tokyo. 

Adam Handling's empire is expanding still further. Hard on the heels of the news that he'll be running the food side of things at the Belmond Cadogan Hotel, now we hear that his first restaurant Frog E1 is upping sticks and moving to Hoxton. He'll be taking over the old Byron site on Hoxton Square from this summer.

For true caffeine addicts, the only real coffee worth having is a single estate espresso made for you by someone who would throw you out of their cafe rather then serve anything with milk or sugar. But you know there are a lot of Nespresso fans who just flipping love their coffee pods, so they're the ones who'll be excited at the news that a Nespresso cafe has just opened in London.

It's all happening over on Hackney's Morning Lane. First came the new wine-focused restaurant Legs, then the new Nike store opened and now there's Farley Macallan. It's a new wine bar and restaurant run by Luke Ramsden whose CV includes time spent at the Arts Club and Home House and it's setting out to reinvent the local.

So this is going to bring joy and happiness to a lot of caffeine-deprived folk. Popular coffee-based business Caravan, who currently have restaurants in Exmouth Market and King's Cross, are opening their own huge roastery, north of their KX site.

The next Grand Union will actually be called Trade Union, and is coming to Wapping, is broadening what it does a little, specifically in the coffee and barbershop direction. It's a huge space (over 6000 square feet) which means they have plenty of room for everything. And they'll be pushing it all as a hub for daily working with plenty of charging spots throughout too.

There's a new addition to The Dorchester that's opening in October. Yes, they're getting into the artisan coffee market with a new cafe called Parcafé, just next to their ballroom. They're aiming for a luxury coffee experience, with an emphasis on adding Dorchester style service.
