Pitt Cue Co to open Soho restaurant in mid January

Pitt Cue CoLast summer, London's shack/trailer food scene really took off - but there was one trailer that ruled them all. The Pitt Cue Co. trailer under the Hungerford Bridge had huge queues from day one and quickly became a summer favourite on the South Bank.

Now the folks behing Pitt Cue have moved on into Soho and are opening up a permanent restaurant in Newburgh Street, just off Carnaby Street.

The new restaurant will be on two floors - seating around 20 downstairs and more on stools and at the bar upstairs. It'll feature all your favourites from the trailer, including pulled pork and brisket alongside some new dishes like beef ribs, steaks and rotating specials. Alongside all this, there'll be a wide selection of home-made pickles (Hot Dinners found the pickled shiitakes to be particularly amazing), fresh slaw, mac n' cheese and plenty of bar snacks like smoked faggots.

The upstairs bar will serve British beer, lots of bourbon and a small selection of cocktails. And you'll be able to get take-out pulled pork buns from here too from 12-6 daily.

Pitt Cue Co opens mid January on Newburgh Street.  For much, much more information, read our full interview with Pitt Cue Co's Tom Adams.
