South London seafood folk Sea Garden are taking over the old Prince Regent boat in Paddington

The husband and wife team behind popular south London seafood spots Sea Garden in Tooting's Broadway Market and Norbury are branching out. Natalie and Nuno Fecha's next venture will actually be on the water, as they've taken on the old Prince Regent narrowboat restaurant in Paddington Basin.

Their current restaurants serve up a seafood-focused menu, influenced by Portuguese & South African flavours. Brunches are a big deal, as are bottomless offerings and seafood boils. We've had a sneak peek at the menu and the seafood boil and surf & turf options are both on there as are Cornish mussels in a cider cream sauce, soft shell crab buns, and coconut and mango battered fish.

Cocktails have a similarly seafood bent, with a seagroni infused with seaweed and a sea dog martini. In the past, The Prince Regent went on a tour of the canal, but it's looking like Sea Garden will be permanently mooring the boat (which we assume makes it cheaper to run).
