The husband and wife team behind popular south London seafood spots Sea Garden in Tooting's Broadway Market and Norbury are branching out. Natalie and Nuno Fecha's next venture will actually be on the water, as they've taken on the old Grand Duchess narrowboat restaurant in Paddington Basin.
Their current restaurants serve up a seafood-focused menu, influenced by Portuguese & South African flavours. Brunches are a big deal, as are bottomless offerings and seafood boils. We don't know what exactly is planned for the boat's menu, but we'll expect their surf & turf options to make a showing too.
Cocktails have a similarly seafood bent with a seagroni infused with seaweed and a sea dog martini. We'll bring you more news on this as we get it.
