Lockdown Bakehouse's pastries and Australian brunches are coming to Putney

Lockdown Bakehouse only started in 2020, but they're already getting ready to open their sixth bakery, this time in Putney.

As the name suggests, they originally started life during the lockdown, coming from the same team behind MyPie, who pivoted and started using their kitchen for different baked goods. Since then, they've opened cafes in Wandsworth, Barnes, Clapham, Earlsfield and Raynes Park, with this latest continuing their march across South-West London.

At the latest cafe, you can expect the same range of breads and pastries that they serve in the others. So that includes bakes like their lemon & pistachio slice, focaccia sandwiches for only a fiver and an Australian-style breakfast and brunch menu (as well as a few Australian products).

And, for their launch on 3 June, they'll be offering £1 coffee and pastries all day. So you'll want that in your diary.
