Pizzarova has four pizzerias in Bristol, having first opened back in 2013, and before that they had started life selling pizzas off the back of a landrover (which is where the name comes from). Now, for the first time, they're opening in London.
Their London pizzeria is opening inside Pop Brixton, and they'll be serving sourdough pizzas that are apparently made from a 70-year-old sourdough starter.
As for the pizzas, while you'll find the usual margherita and marinara pizzas, there are also some of their more bespoke creations like:
- Miso Mushroom - Miso-marinated oyster mushrooms, garlic & ginger chilli drizzle, parmesan & chives
- Roasted Garlic & Parm Chicken - Smoked chicken, roasted garlic, parmesan, sunblushed tomato & rocket
- Specials like their current one with: Fior di Latte, Bristol-grown basil, butternut squash cream, spicy chorizo crumb, sunblushed tomato, cavalo nero salsa verde & somerset buffalo mozzarella
This year, they won "pizzeria of the year" at pizza festival Slice-O-Mania, so it should be well worth heading down to try one of their creations.
