Hats off to the journos at City AM who've managed to winkle out a reopening date for the Chiltern Firehouse. As you'll remember, the celeb haunt has been closed ever since a fire raged through the property back in February.
The hotel's accounts have just been submitted to Companies House and the newspaper spotted a statement that gave their many fans a date to work towards. "The forecasted re-opening date for the hotel is April 2027."
Looks like the insurance company has paid up, so they're going to be able to fully refurb the hotel without losing any money.
The hotel are notoriously tight-lipped about pretty much everything; there's barely any internet presence for it. So this is probably the only news you're going to get until it starts to look ready to reopen.
