Kora brings London's Mediterranean trend to the King's Road

Kora brings London's Mediterranean trend to the King's Road

It's been a big trend in London restaurants over the past couple of years, and another Mediterranean restaurant is on the way, this time to Chelsea.

Kora is opening in Beaufort House, taking over what was their brasserie space, transforming it into a restaurant that "takes timeless Mediterranean classics and reimagines them with creativity and modern flair." That translates as a menu which includes:

  • Yellowtail kingfish with tomato consomme, amalfi lemon and wild verbena
  • Saganagi prawns, with confit tomatoes, olives & fregola
  • Charred lamb shoulder with hummus, mint salata and rose harissa
  • Dark chocolate mousse with olive oil

There's no obvious competitor nearby, so this should go down very well with the Chelsea locals.
