Zia Lucia are continuing their march south with a new pizzeria, this time in Balham.
If you're not familiar with them, they first started on Holloway Road (where they've now merged with pasta restaurant Berto) and the restaurant is all centred around their 48-hour slow-fermented doughs. With each pizza, you get a choice of traditional white flour, wholemeal, gluten-free or a vegetable charcoal base.
As for those pizzas, they include:
- Paperon De Pep(p)eroni - Tomato, mozzarella, spianata spicy salami, roasted peppers
- Arianna Sbagliata - Mozzarella, gorgonzola, fresh sausage, honey, truffle oil
- Parmigiana - Tomato, mozzarella, roasted aubergines, parmigiano
- Red Vegana - Tomato, garlic, oregano, roasted peppers, red onions, olives
