More good news for vegetarians as Rosa’s Thai Cafe Soho becomes the latest restaurant to swing to more plant-focused dining, temporarily moves to an all veggie menu until April.
The three-month pop-up, called Rosa's Thai Veggie, will feature a couple of brand new dishes that we're loving the sound of, like tofu satay, panang tofu, tom kha mushroom soup and laab mushrooms, a veggie riff on a traditional minced meat salad commonly found in Laos.
And don't worry - their deliciously oily stir-fried aubergine will still be on offer, alongside their papaya salad, plus veggie-only versions of their pad thai and green curries.
You can also expect:
- Sweetcorn patties with kaffir lime leaves in red curry paste batter
- Grapefruit salad with spicy roasted chilli paste and evaporated milk dressing
- Tom zaap soup with lemongrass, galangal and Asian mushrooms
- Southern stir-fried minced tofu and peas
The decision to go all vegetarian was partly inspired by co-owner Saiphin Moore's regular pilgrimage to the Thailand Vegetarian Festival. "It inspires me to bring more vegetarian options to Rosa's Thai Cafes," she said.
When: From 15 January until the end of April
Where: Rosa’s Thai Cafe, 48 Dean Street, Soho, London W1D 5BF
