Borough Market's restaurant scene continues to get better than ever. Following the arrival of both Kolae and Akara last year, two big chefs are teaming up for a new Greek-inspired restaurant (taking over the old Rabot 1745 space).

Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng of TA TA Eatery are bringing back their spin-off TOU, this time as a residency in Borough Market. 

They're taking over the upstairs room at the Globe Tavern, which they're pitching as a "1970s Japanese Americana-inspired sando bar". Previously seen at the original incarnation of Arcade Food Hall, they'll be bringing their truly great Ibérico Pork

Borough Market shows no sign of slowing down with its exciting new restaurant openings. We recently told you about the forthcoming Greek-inspired Oma from David Carter and former Kiln and Sabor chefs. It just became even more interesting, with the news that

West African restaurant Akara is the follow up to Akoko and sees the team focusing in on deep-fried snacks and a not inconsiderable amount of heat. We head down to Borough Yards to check it out.
