The people behind the much-loved Diogenes The Dog are opening a new wine bar, with low intervention and natural wine as the focus.

Following the Camberwell original and the Tooting follow up, Good Neighbour are getting ready to open a third wine bar/restaurant - this time in Peckham. 

They're taking over the space from Pedler (who are heading east to a new location). Once again it's from the team of Paul Williamson (ex Soho House) and Josue

We descend into the depths of a Grade II listed Victorian water closet to discover a bar that's big on charm.

If a hospitality space can be said to retain an imprint from previous uses, then 230 Dalston Lane seems determined to remain a wine bar. Previously L'Entrepot wine bar from the folks at Borough Wines, it's about to find new life as a 'warehouse brasserie' and wine bar.

News reaches us of a promising new Hungarian restaurant coming to North London. Previously running as pop-ups and supperclubs, Turul Project is now going permanent. Opening near Turnpike Lane and Green Lanes, the restaurant and wine bar (as well as deli and cafe) will be all about contemporary Hungarian dining.

 Top Italian sommelier Maurizio Titone joins forces with entrepreneur Marco Petrozzi for this boutique wine bar on Archway Road.

From the Cotswolds to King's Cross, a coffee and wine duo will be serving up minimal intervention wine at this new wine bar and cafe.

Taking over two railway arches in Haggerston, Planque will have a wine bar, restaurant, members' club and store, with a key focus on natural and low intervention wines

The next wine bar from 28-50 (the third in the group) will be on the King's Road. Expect European food alongside a strong selection of European wines - many of them available by the glass. 

The mid-section of Blackstock Road is becoming quite the food and drink hub. There's Patron (currently delivering lovely French dishes across town), Shop Cuvee selling natural wine and cheese, and Grin and Beer it with their craft beer.

Joining their ranks, whenever hospitality businesses are allowed to reopen, will be BookBar which couldn't be more a product of the times.

This all day neighbourhood spot has had a dramatic revamp and, even better, has a huge alfresco space too. We headed west to check it out.

After success with their first loo-turned-wine-bar in Clapham, WC are at it again. This time they're renovating a Victorian loo in Bloomsbury to become their second wine bar. 

The team behind Chiswick deli and pizzeria, The Italians, are preparing for a Marylebone opening this winter. The Italians' new home on Devonshire Street will be a wine bar and bistro.

As with their Chiswick site, the key thing will be the sourcing of top drawer Italian food and drink. The all Italian wine list will change seasonally and there'll be loads available by the glass. They'll be baking focaccia fresh in-house

During Lockdown, popular restaurant Silver Lining revealed its plans to become the UK's first wine bar focused entirely on orange wine. In its first phase, it opened as a takeaway bottle shop with over 50 varieties of orange wine to choose from.
