Big changes are afoot at Old Spitalfields Market. They're launching new "Kitchens" onto the market floor and they've a pretty stellar line-up planned for them.

There will be ten of the kitchens that will be serving the market and here's who will be in them at the start, all serving up unique dishes:

The first sister restaurant of London Fields’ Wringer & Mangle’s sets up opposite Liverpool Street Station. It’s a sizable venture, with two stories, a bar, a deli, bar snacks and bottomless brunches all on the go - something for everyone, including vegans. 

After a long relationship with Street Feast, Rola Wala finally becomes a permanent fixture in Spitalfield, with their healthy do-it-yourself Indian grub, including Nagaland lamb, Bengali-spiced beef and plenty to please the vegan and gluten-free crowd too.

Summing it all up: The people behind Gunpowder are opening a second spot in Spitalfields. This one will be dedicated to Himalayan cooking. 

If the idea of sitting out on terraces isn't quite your thing during winter, you'll want something that's a bit more like the Pilsner Urquell Winter Garden that's just launched beside Galvin Hop in Spitalfields. Running into the new year, it's essentially a beer tent that's been added alongside the main restaurant. Anyone can head along there from 5pm-10.30pm daily and you can hire the place out too.

There's a new Middle Eastern-inspired pop up hitting Spitalfields next month. Origins Of is a partnership between longtime friends Abdulla Amin and Hugo Toland (the consultant behind Street Feast). The team behind much-loved London restaurants Galvin have launched HOP in Spitalfields market. Opening in place of Galvin Cafe a vin, Galvin’s HOP will swap wine for beer bringing fresh Pilsner Urquell Tank Beer (served in the same style as at Duck & Rice), a range of craft beers, wine on tap by OW Loeb and an entirely new menu featuring classic pub dishes as well as a range of premium hot dogs.
