• The Green and Fortune Cafe launches Project Pizza in King's Place

  

  There's a new pizza place coming to King's Cross, and this one's inside the big King's Place building, as part of the Green and Fortune Café (so it's very handy for Guardian workers). They're launching the new Project Pizza.

• Giorgio Locatelli's Pizza Locadeli pop-up is coming to Islington

  

  The roving pizza popup set up by Giorgio Locatelli with his wife Plaxy, which was in Marylebone for a three week stint last September, is once more on the move.

  This time the Michelin-starred chef is going to be throwing pizzas in Islington (well at least his staff will). • Homeslice to open second restaurant in Fitzrovia

  

  They're already big in Covent Garden and now Homeslice are on the way to Fitzrovia with their second restaurant. 

  This time they're going a bit bigger as the new place will seat 120 and they'll have a dedicated takeaway space - which will be handy if you're working in the area. Otherwise expect a cocktail bar, counter seating and a big wood fired oven in the middle of the restaurant.

• 400 Rabbits pizzeria set to open in Crystal Palace

  

  The progression of central London trends out to the burbs continues with news that Crystal Palace is about to get a sourdough pizza and craft beer restaurant. Four Hundred Rabbits will serve up sourdough pizzas featuring Fior de Latte Mozzarella, San Marzano Tomatoes and topped with all manner of UK artisanal produce. Think British charcuterie or slow smoked rare breed brisket.

  Fresh from getting a Francesco Mazzei seal of approval, Pizza Pilgrims are about to head into the City for a week long pop-up with Vivek Singh's Cinnamon Kitchen.

  "I’m going to turn the pizza world on its ear in London." That's fighting talk, that is. And it comes from New Yorker Bruno DiFabio who is A Big Thing when it comes to pizza stateside.
