• YO! Sushi now has YO! Kitchen at Westfield London

• Arabica KX sees Borough's Levantine-inspired restaurant expand to King's Cross

  This new all day restaurant will open up right next to the Aga Khan Centre in King's Cross and they're promising very special hummus, the best halal steaks and more.

• Sticks n Sushi are coming to Soho

  Sticks n Sushi been a growing success story in London with six restaurants here - and here comes their seventh, right in the heart of Soho. Expect the usual huge range of yakitori, sushi plates and more. 

• Calici on Belsize Lane will be a neighbourhood Italian restaurant and wine bar

  New to Belsize Lane is Calici - a neighbourhood Italian restaurant with wine bar, serving up regional, modern dishes, making their own pasta, and going big on Italian wine.

• Oded Oren is opening his own restaurant Oren in Dalston

  After multiple residencies across town, Oded Oren is opening his own restaurant in Dalston. Expect Mediterranean food with a touch of Tel Aviv.

  The former head chef of Chiltern Firehouse is moving up in the world, literally. He's opening this seventh-floor restaurant with sky garden in The Stratford in, yes, Stratford.

  If you're living or working near Old Street roundabout, then a new lifestyle spot opening up on City Road might be for you.

  atis is going to be serving up salad bowls, juices and more in the ground floor of the newly-opened Atlas Building on City Road.   Summer is retreating and autumn is incoming (although it officially starts on 23 September). And while the restaurant scene in London has been going through some trying times - there really are a lot of big, exciting new restaurants on the horizon. We've picked out some of the ones you should have your eye on.

• Church Road in Barnes sees Sonny's taken over by an ex-Elystan Street team

  Rebecca Mascarenhas and Phil Howard's Sonny's gets a new name, look and team. And the menu at this neighbourhood Barnes spot sounds very good indeed.

• Crudo is a grab and go cevicheria opening on Riding House Street

• Le Deli Robuchon and Le Comptoir Robuchon are opening in Mayfair

  

  Following the death of Joël Robuchon last year, his famed London restaurant L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon also shut its doors this year.
