• Korean barbecue restaurant Yori to open in Covent Garden

  It’s farewell to the Covent Garden outlet of Jidori and in its place is the third branch of Korean barbecue restaurant Yori.

• Boom Bap Burger is coming to Bethnal Green

  They've been big in Tooting Market and now Boom Bap Burger have found a permanent home in Bethnal Green for their mix of burgers and hip-hop. 

• Barbie Green is the latest from Daisy Green, opening in Barbican

  This restaurant is the latest from the Daisy Green group and it sounds like they've got an excellent location just outside Barbican. And yes, they will have the all-day Aussie brunch.

• Mamago is Wagamama's new grab and go spot at Fenchurch Street

  

  City folk in Fenchurch Street are the first to be able to try out Wagamama's new grab-and-go concept Mamago, which opened yesterday. Described as "Wagamama's little sister - more upstart, less sit-down" - the new space will be open from 7am through to 6pm

• Barboun in Shoreditch is a Levantine restaurant from the Yosma and Hovarda team

  The people behind Hovarda in Soho are opening a new restaurant in Shoreditch that's all about Levantine cooking over fire. It'll have a deli onsite too. 

• The Melusine seafood restaurant is coming to St Katharine Docks

  This seafood restaurant in the docks is all about serving up sustainably caught seafood from around the British Isles. There'll be ever-changing sharing plates as well as grilled, poached or fried whole fish on the menu. 

• Selfridges has a new boutique cinema serving afternoon tea in the bar

  

  London has started getting a few new luxe cinemas where the food is a little more than nachos and popcorn. The latest to open is a cinema right in the heart of Selfridges on Oxford Street - but alas you can't take the food into the screening with you.

• Baraka restaurant is bringing mangal cooking to Broadgate

• Wild Tavern on Chelsea's Elystan Street is the latest from the folk at Beast and Goodmans

• Prairie Fire are opening a restaurant and taproom at the Wood Lane arches by White City

• Old Chang Kee are bringing their curry puffs to Fitzrovia
