• Provisions wine and cheese store opens on Holloway Road

  

  Opening its doors on Holloway Road today is new wine and cheese store Provisions. It's the brainchild of two ex-Borough Wine blokes - Hugo and Ben. "We want to put the producer at the fore and tell their story to people here," Ben told Hot Dinners. "It’s what got us hooked on them in the first place and what we love about working with them."

• XXL mozzarella goes on sale for summer at Rossopomodoro

  

  If the puny little balls of mozzarella you normally pick up in the supermarket just aren't enough to satisfy your cheese lust, better head down to Rossopomodoro over the next two months. Apparently this is the best time of year to be eating buffalo mozarella and so the Italian chain have introduced two humungous servings of the cheese to their menu for the summer.

• Champagne + Fromage French deli and bistro to open in Greenwich Market

  

  Greenwich is getting a new bistro/deli devoted to fizz and cheese. Champagne + Fromage should be opening their doors on Church Street within Greenwich market next month. It's the third site for the group run by husband and wife team Stefano Frigerio and Maud Fierobe and cheese expert Franck Le Blais.
