The next big addition to King's Cross is the new Lighterman pub - coming to Granary Square early in 2016. But there's an earlier change to see what they'll have coming up as they launch their Christmas under the Canopy pop-up next week.
On outside stalls, they'll have:
- Venison Burgers: brioche bap, venison patty, cranberry compote, charred onions and baby gem (£7)
- Porchetta baps: brioche bap, rolled and slow cooked pork belly, spice apple compote and baby gem (£7)
- Roasted Chestnuts (£3) and Mince Pies (£2)
- And finally the VERY nice doughnuts from St John (£3)
Plus they'll have mulled wine, Prosecco, beer and more. At the same time, there will be a "Fir Tree Forest" and you can choose a tree to take home and more entertainment. The whole event's profits will go to Farms for City Children.
The Lighterman Christmas under the Canopy is on Granary Square from 3 - 13 December from 12pm to 9pm weekdays, and on weekends from 10am to 9pm. Read more about the opening.
