Pierre Koffmann and Claude Bosi's big night out at the AA Awards

claude bosi aa rosettesThe annual AA Hospitality Awards took place at the London Hilton Park Lane yesterday and, as you might imagine, a few key awards ended up being presented to London chefs and restaurants. Big winners at the ceremony were as follows:

  • Four Seasons Hotel London - AA Hotel of the Year Award London 2012-2013
  • Pierre Koffmann - AA Chefs’ Chef of the Year Award 2012-2013
  • Claude Bosi (pictured right) whose restaurant Hibiscus was awarded five new AA Rosettes - the AA's highest rating and the only new restaurant to get five this year.
  • Pollen Street Social which was awarded four AA Rosettes
  • Seven Park Place by William Drabble, London which was awarded four AA Rosettes
  • Dinner by Heston which won AA Restaurant of the Year Award London 2012-2013
  • Kensington's L'etranger restaurant which won the AA Wine Award for England & Overall 2012-2013

London restaurants which picked up three AA Rosettes were:

  • Rib Room at Jumeirah Carlton Towers
  • Wolfgang Puck at 45 Park Lane
  • Alyn Williams at The Westbury
  • Thirty Six by Nigel Mendham at Dukes Hotel, London

Two key honourary awards also took place with Antonio Carluccio winning the AA Lifetime Achievement Award and Raymond Blanc who picked up a special award for having held five rosettes for 20 years.
