Oka fusion restaurant coming to the first floor at Kingly Court

oka-dishA year after they opened their first restaurant in Primrose Hill, Oka are expanding with a second one further into town. Billed as serving "seasonal traditional Asian food with a modern twist" Oka will be up on the first floor of Carnaby’s Kingly Court.

The restaurant will seat 30 and will also have a standalone bar. They're going to be focusing on healthy takeaways for the lunchtime market while if you have more time to linger you can try dishes from their robata grill. There'll also be daily specials.

As to what you can expect for the menu - it's a Pan Asian sushi affair. Speciality sushi rolls include Jalapeno salmon roll with salmon, spring onion, shichimi spices, avocado and cucumber rolled in tempura crumbs served with citrus mayo. And we're intrigued by the sound of the stir-fried Marmite chicken with a Marmite soy reduction served with rice and pakchoy.

Oka opens in December on the first floor at Kingly Court, Kingly Street, London W1B 5PW
