Camden's Forge and Foundry launch Friday Pieday

forge and foundry piesIf there's a notable trend in North London this year so far it's pies. We've already been round to try them at Kentish Town pub Tapping The Admiral and first bricks and mortar shop for Piebury Corner on Holloway Road. And now we hear that a Camden pub is getting in on the act.

The Forge and Foundry on Delancey Street has just launched Friday Pieday. Every Friday they'll be offering a range of freshly baked pies either for eat-in or takeaway (handy if you're working nearby).

Pies are both sweet and savoury with several of the latter cooked with ales from the Meantime Brewing Company. The menu changes regularly but you might see Vegetarian (spinach, mushroom & parmesan) £4 take away/£6 eat in, Chicken and Mushroom £5 take away/£7 eat in as well as a pie of the month and on the dessert front almond frangipan £3.50.

The Forge and Foundry is at 3–7 Delancey Street, London NW1 7NL. Follow tham on Twitter @foundry_camden
