With fresh pasta
Francesco Mazzei always has some amazing truffle dishes on the menu and this year is no exception with truffle dishes on offer at his Mayfair and Battersea restaurants. We particularly want the egg tagliolini with truffles. (£14)
How much? The tagliolini is £14. Each dish can be finished with white truffle charged at an additional £15 per gram, or the four-course menu which includes two grams of truffle per course is £200.
Topping off a bowl of polenta

Looking for a luxury bowl of comfort food? Then this dish at Rigo on the New King's Road should hit the mark, using Polenta from Cuneo with a confit duck egg and tumin del Melle - and then lots of truffles.
How much? The black truffle menu is £88 and the white truffle menu is £52 with white truffle shavings priced according to weight.

Returning for another year as part of this restaurant's truffle menu is their Truffle Toasty - homemade sourdough is coated with whipped butter and truffle shavings, combined with raclette, garnished at the table with truffle shavings. But if you prefer it for dessert, they're also putting on custard made with malt extract, set with caramelized white chocolate and topped with shaved truffles at the table.

This always-on dish at The Stafford London oozes truffle butter - so much so that anyone ordering it get a special leather bib to protect their clothes.

The clue to the obsession at this newish Camden restaurant is in the name - it's all about truffles (and Prosecco). Seasonal dishes come and go, but one that's always on the menu is the burrata with fresh truffles and truffle salsa. Or you can get it on truffles, in the croquettes - even on the cheesecake for dessert.
How much? The burrata is £13.
Italian pop-up restaurant SOOD Family, will be holding a Truffle Supper Club at BOTTLES Wine Bar in Spitalfields on Tuesday 30th October. The £150 dinner includes beef fillet tartare with white truffle - and wine pairings.
Ristorante Frescobaldi is putting on A Truffle Experience on 6 November. The four course white truffle dinner is £120 per person with a welcome drink and features dishes like Risotto with San Pietro a Pettine white truffle. Call them to book on 0203 693 3435.
In West London at Kitchen W8 they have a roast cauliflower dish on the menu with summer truffle and walnut and shallot dressing for £19.
Over at Quo Vadis in Soho they're selling Alba truffles at cost, by the gram, with a special menu of fresh tajarin and/or eggs (but you can shave your truffle on anything from the menu).
At Phil Howard's Elystan Street a popular dish is the hand cut strozzapretti with black truffle, chicken stock, parmesan and butter, but it will set you back £40.
And if you find yourself desperate for some truffles and your local Spar for some reason doesn't stock them - then Jacob Kenedy's Gelupo should be your port of call. They're running a truffle bike delivery service with prices varying week to week between an incredible £2-3 a gram - they deliver to zone 1 and 2, with limited availability in zone 3 and 4.
