Over the lockdown, London's food delivery scene has been improving in leaps and bounds. We've gathered together what we think are the restaurants delivering the most impressive meals right now.

AngelinaAngelina

Where: 56 Dalston Ln, Dalston, London E8 3AH

In a nutshell: Italian/Japanese mash-up

The seven course delivery menu at Angelina is, they say, "modelled to reflect a traditional dining experience at Angelina, where a surreal exploration of Japanese and Italian cuisines collide." So that means dishes like truffle cured sashimi, unagi and octopus risotto, and matcha panna cotta. It's only available on Friday nights as the restaurant is being used to provide meals for Hackney's most vulnerable community

Delivery Range: Within 2.5 miles of their restaurant.

How to order: On their website

The Michelin-starred Endo at the Rotunda was already one of the hardest restaurants to get into in London, with only a few seats. While it's closed, their chef Endo Kazutoshi has started his own delivery service and it looks like his luxury bento boxes are one of the most sought after delivery items too. The first one sold out almost immediately, but keep an eye on Endo's Instagram account for details of the next and swoop in asap. Note - he's also delivering them personally!

Delivery Range: Addresses in W, SW, NW and N (subject to chef availability!)

How to order: Email Endodelivers@gmail.com when you get the go-ahead from Instagram.

Marina O' Loughlin raved about Orasay's delivery service in The Times, saying it not only made her feel normal but 'human again'. You can order a-la-carte but the set menus are particularly popular and you'll need to order ahead if you want those at the weekend. This is particularly good for plant-based eaters as there's a vegetarian feast for two that sounds amazing. Expect great value wines too.
