Viral smoothie brand Elevate is opening a smoothie bar inside Selfridges Food Hall

elevate functional smoothies are coming to selfridges

Every once in a while, you'll find a new indie coffee or smoothie brand that somehow manages to cut through the noise and really cause a splash on the London scene. Last year those two were matcha spot Frothee and smoothie offering Elevate.

And it's the latter we're talking about today as the bar, opened by former finance girl Julia Baldet in the City, is about to head into the West End. Baldet has secured a site inside the Selfridges food hall for her second functional smoothie bar.

If you haven't tried her first place in the City, it gained an intensely loyal following for its smoothies and shakes that are aimed to help with energy, digestion, recovery and so on. And if you've already worked your way through the menu that contains The Glow and Lean Berries then you can head here for their exclusive Selfridge smoothie - a brand-reflective yellow offering collagen, hyaluronic acid, biotin, Vitamin C and charcoal among its ingredients.

"Opening in Selfridges feels incredibly special," says Julia, noting that it's been less than a year since she launched her first location, with a simple idea: wellness should fit into real life."
