It's been a while since the last pop-up/takeover of The Standard (that was Pecking House last July), but now a new overseas restaurant is taking over. This time it's PaperBoy from Paris, which is inspired by "the spirit of the 90s" and is almost as well-known for its collabs as its food.Â
The food at PaperBoy is sandwich-led, with options including their fried fish bun with white sauce, a fried chicken roll and a tuna tataki sandwich with cabbage, spicy mayo and bulldog sauce. They also do breakfasts, including an egg Benedict and omelette bun alongside fish and meat plates and are promising some specials for the London pop-up.Â
The restaurant also teams up regularly with New Balance, which is being planned for London too, with a Sunday morning run series that will start in May. And they are, of course, introducing some special new merch for the pop-up. So if this has been an item on your Paris bucket list that you haven't gotten around to, you'll want to check out this London appearance.Â
