Alley Cats Pizza confirms its Notting Hill arrival

Alley Cats Pizza's next pizzeria is in Notting Hill

15/8/25 - updated with the opening date

Popular pizza spot Alley Cats is on the expansion trail again - this time to the area that it seems everyone's trying to break into, Notting Hill.

Alley Cats are taking over the space that was once Italian restaurant Verderame (that's a few doors down from Sunday in Brooklyn). The space will look pretty familiar to anyone who's been to an Alley Cats before, with its gingham covered tables, but this adds something new to the mix - a downstairs private dining room.

Essentially, it's all about their huge 14-inch New York-style pizzas. Outside of the standard margherita and marinara, they do go a little out there with some of their creations. For instance at the moment, challenging the "no pineapple on pizza" unofficial rule, there's the Pulled Pork & Pineapple (Tomato sauce, scamorza, pulled pineapple salsa, shaved pork and nduja).

There will be some new additions to the menu here, including a new BBQ chicken pizza, a Caesar salad and pizza fritta dough “pillowd” filled with cheesy spinach. There will also be new drinks on the menu, including The Dark Alley, a Negroni infused for 48 hours with Arabica coffee.

Alley Cats Pizza's popularity sees no sign of dying down, so this should be another hit for them.
