Last year, eagle-eyed fans of North London cafe group Fink's spotted that they'd taken over a cafe site on Blackstock Road. However, dreams of a new space to sit in were dashed when they revealed they were simply using the space as a prep kitchen. But now their plans have changed. They've just launched a crowdfunder to help them transform the space into a "full-scale bakery. This will allow us to add freshly baked bread and viennoiserie to our offering."
"We'll be making all our bread for our sites in house, and delivering daily by bike," they explain. "And we'll also be opening the doors each morning for fresh bread and pastries at the Blackstock Road site. A proper old school bakery."
