Brixton residents who love their suya, and those who haven't had the pleasure yet, should look out for a new West African takeaway business opening their way very soon.
Alhaji Suya is getting ready to open their fourth London store, beside Brixton station, to add to their other locations in Peckham, Greenwich and Walworth. Their new place will be a kiosk in an alleyway linking Brixton Station Road and Atlantic Road.
As with their other branches, suya will be the main event but you'll also be able to try kilishi, a spicy beef jerky. And, of course, jollof will be on the menu too.
"If you’re new to Hausa cuisine, we recommend you start by trying our tozo suya, or beef suya, topped with yaji, a special spice blend," says Alkhaji "We’re excited to bring our signature food and flavours to Brixton”.
