They've had successes across town with Martello Hall, Canova Hall and more - and now the same group is coming to Crouch End with Allora Hall (it's opening where MonkeyNuts used to be).
As with the other halls, it's part hot-desking, with spaces available until 5pm and part bar and restaurant. So if you're in that area and fancy working from somewhere other than your own room, this could be a very handy new opening.
The food can best be described as pizza, pasta and chicken. Wood-fired pizzas include The Hot Don (‘Nduja, finocchiona, birds eye & pickled chillies, hot red pesto and oregano), pasta includes Top Truffle Tagliatelle (truffle taleggio, fonduta, crispy mushrooms & shallots, pink peppercorns, lemon and parmesan crisp) and there's the house fried chicken too. There are also plenty of dishes for vegans, including the Vegan Viking pizza (cashew cheese, pistachio pesto, red chillies, rocket and mint).
On top of that, there's a bottomless brunch at weekends and a breakfast menu if you're kicking off the day there. We've found the halls to be very handy whenever we've come across one, so this should be a good addition to the area.
