Physical restaurants may not be able to open at the moment, but that hasn't stopped them coming up with exciting new delivery options.
Straight out of the gate this morning is Quality Chop House's Quality Wines, which today announced that it's launching Arrosto. They're delivering what's described as; " elegant comfort food in these uncomfortable times".
Chef Nick Bramham has been inspired by the rosticcerie of Naples to come up with a menu focusing on spit roast chicken and other wintry Italian dishes.
In addition to the chicken, served whole or half, they're also doing aubergine parmigiana and sides of chicken dripping potatoes (which we must have). There are also chicken skewers, chicken cooked over charcoal and these specials:
- Chicken Milanese Sandwich - Breaded and fried chicken thigh in a soft toasted roll with roast peppers, provolone and rocket
- Arrosto Piadina - A traditional flatbread from Romagna, here filled with Arrosto chicken, Broccoli Ripassata & Burrata.
- ‘Zuni Cafe’ Roast Chicken & Bread Salad - described as "An homage to the iconic Californian restaurant’s cult dish". A whole Arrosto chicken, jointed and served with a warm salad of torn toasted foccacia, pine nuts, raisins, spring onions and mixed leaves.
Desserts include blood orange sorbet and their own gelato including a very appetising sounding marsala and raisin option.
