ASAP Pizza sees the Lyle's and Flor team launching a pizza delivery restaurant

Updated 11/6/20 with more menu details

They've just reopened Flor in Borough and now the team behind that restaurant, as well as the Michelin-starred Lyle's, are getting into the pizza business (running from the same kitchen as Flor).

They're launching ASAP Pizza, which will be all about sourdough pizzas made with heritage British wheats. In charge of things is Pam Yung, who's been involved in pizza pop-ups around the world. She's had experience in Bonci in Rome, with Massimo Laveglia at L’Industrie Pizzeria in NY, at Montreal’s Le Vin Papillon and at Tartine Bakery in Seoul - all highly rated spots.

The menu, which is split into red and white bases, will showcase her own take on pizzas, including:

  • Hawaiian - pickled scotch bonnet, red onion, grilled pineapple, cured pig’s cheek
  • Prosciutto -  with a homemade prosciutto cotto from Gothelney Farm in Cornwall
  • On and On - green onions, new season garlic, wild garlic, wild marjoram

And on top of those, you can add extras like Cantabrian anchovies, house-made sausage and smoked mozzarella.

Extra small plates include "Burrata, datterini and panzanella" and there are also ice cream sandwiches from east London’s ice cream supremos Happy Endings. There's also a small wine list and a couple of cocktails on offer, including a flat peach negroni.

London has some excellent pizza restaurants right now - so all eyes will be on ASAP Pizza to see what they're adding to the mix.
