If you love the idea of buying your weekly groceries at Borough Market, but the reality of wading through the tourist-heavy throng not so much, then we have the answer.
The market has just announced the launch of its online shopping service - it's apparently the first produce market in the country to do so. They've teamed up with Bath based company Good Sixty who are running the system for them (the name Good Sixty comes from research showing that every pound you spend with a local independent producer has a 60% greater benefit to your local community than spending it with a large supermarket.)
There are currently 29 stallholders that are part of the initial project - including Cannon and Cannon, Ted's Veg and - one of our personal favourites - the Parma Ham and Mozzarella folk, with more on the way.
Choose between picking up your shopping on your way home or - if you're lucky enough to live or work within a 1.5 mile radius of the market - you can get it delivered there on one of the market's zero-emission electric cargo bikes.
