New opening

A lot's happening in Exmouth Market at the moment and the latest new restaurant heading that way is Coin Laundry, an all-day restaurant with a 70s touch.

Best known for their fish & chips in Camden (via Dublin and Brussels) their Brixton offering will be similar, with tempura style batters and fish crusted in panko crumbs laced with house grinded and roasted spices and with Cuban, Cajun and Jamaican jerk seasoning.

As anyone who's walked past the original, which only opened last year, Kanada Ya is almost as hard to get into as Bao and Barrafina. Every time we pass by, there's always a significant queue outside (particularly on weekends).

Greenwich is getting a new bistro/deli devoted to fizz and cheese. Champagne + Fromage should be opening their doors on Church Street within Greenwich market next month.
