After wowing Londoners with his Catalan food at Encant and Bravas Tapas, Victor Garvey has teamed up with his dad to open another restaurant on Maiden Lane. This time, it’ll be a laid back wine and cheese bar, with tapas and plenty more to enjoy.

Originally a hit in Stoke Newington, this is the second Wolf to hit London. Expect aperitivo in the evening, pasta in the afternoon and eat in or takeaway breakfast - which includes fontina wild boar waffles - folk around Liverpool Street will be sorted all day long.

Baker Street will the home to the flagship branch of CHIK’N, an ethical fried chicken restaurant that’ll be open all day.

Shrimoyee Chakraborty is opening a new Calcutta Street in Brixton, with a big focus on atmosphere and small sharing plates. There’ll be some new menu additions, plus bespoke cocktails made with traditional Shorbot, and a late license until 1am every night to top it all off.
