• Kutir in Chelsea will be ex-Gymkhana chef Rohit Ghai's first solo restaurant

  The chef and GM who headed up London's top Indian restaurants including Gymkhana and Jamavar are opening their first solo venture in Chelsea. Expect this to be one of the biggest openings of the Autumn.

• The next Chick n' Sours is coming to Upper Street, Islington

  The masters of fried chicken are back with their "third album". This time they're on Islington's Upper Street with new dishes, an outside space and all the fried favourites from the original (yes, the Szechuan Aubergine). All that and their signature sour cocktails too. 

• The duo behind Breddos Tacos are opening Super Tacos at Market Hall Fulham

  The Breddos Tacos pair's plot for world domination continues with their expansion into south west London. They're joining the list of food traders at Market Hall Fulham with a Tijuana-inspired taco space.

• Two Lights in Shoreditch is the next restaurant from the Clove Club team with Chase Lovecky in charge

  The team behind The Clove Club have a new restaurant on the way - but it's a bit of a departure for them. This time they're helping American chef Chase Lovecky open his own restaurant in Dalston. 

• Art Yard Bar and Kitchen to open at the Bankside Hotel on Blackfriars Road

  Bringing in chef Lee Streeton from 45 Jermyn Street shows this new Blackfriars all day spot means business. Tucked into the Bankside Hotel it'll feature modern art everywhere and a menu that shows similar creativity.

• New Queen's Park cafe and wine bar MILK BEACH brings in Duck and Waffle and P Franco chefs for the food

  The Queen's Park cafe game just got a whole load more interesting with the arrival of MILK BEACH on Lonsdale Road. They're promising the absolute best coffee, banging brunches and the natural wine bar and small plates offering by night sounds great too.

• Flipside on Cowcross Street will serve everything from morning smoothies to late night veggie burger treats

  Right around the corner from the meat traders at Smithfield Market is this new plant-based all day spot, serving up smoothies and juices in the morning, salads and soups at lunch and then turning into a fully-fledged burger spot in the evening.

• The Chipping Forecast returns to Soho in a permanent spot

  The fish and chips restaurant with the great name used to be on the market at Berwick Street. Now they're coming back to Soho for good. 

• Sticks’n’Sushi's huge new King's Road place will feature The Kings Room restaurant within a restaurant

  Taking over three storeys on the King's Road, the Danish company's new sushi and yakitori sticks spot will feature a private dining room with a difference - you get your own chef, staff, music and even lift!

• Islington's Compton Arms reopens with a new landlord and refined pub classics menu

  The pub that inspired George Orwell's famous Moon Under Water essay has been taken over by the landlord who runs The Gun in Hackney and he's brought in help to serve up some interesting bar food too.

• Paris tea masters Mariage Frères are opening a five-storey tea emporium in Covent Garden

  France's oldest tea emporium has been operating in Paris since 1854. Now legendary tea company Mariage Frères is coming to London. They'll be offering up five storeys of tea-based wonder in Covent Garden. 

• New York's Red Farm settles on Covent Garden for its London restaurant

  The people behind Pac Man dumplings are coming to London. Expect a modern take on Chinese dim sum with a few NYC influences too.
