  • Chinatown's viral mango sticky rice spot Imm-Aroy is expanding to Bloomsbury

For almost a year now the 'hidden' Thai street food spot Imm-Aroy has been one of the worst-kept secrets in Chinatown. Tucked away at the back of the SeeWoo supermarket on Lisle Street, it serves up a viral mango sticky rice dish which also comes in a very cute mini rice bites version.

Now they're gearing up to open a second place, this time in Bloomsbury. Owner Kai revealed the news on social saying, "Nearly one year ago, we brought the authentic taste of Thai street food to the heart of Chinatown, and the love from you all has been nothing short of amazing! Because you can‘t get

  • Bloomsbury gets a shiny new rooftop bar as Arcus takes over the top of The Imperial hotel on Russell Square

The Imperial Hotel in Bloomsbury is getting a (much-needed) overhaul at the moment, and a great part of that is focused on the roof. Up there, they're opening a brand new rooftop bar called Arcus.

It's going to be pretty huge, as they'll be able to fit over 300 people and, given that Bloomsbury isn't quite as high-rise as other parts of town, you should be able to get some fantastic views. They're promising views of St Paul's, the London Eye and, much closer to them, a bird's eye view of the British Museum. There are a lot of tables open  to the elements, but if the

It's being billed as a new South Asian vegetarian restaurant, which they say "will go back to the food of Ravinder and Nadeem's Indian ancestors" (the restaurant itself is named after Ravinder's grandfather).

The full menu is yet to be revealed, but we do know that South Asian thalis are
