"As for the food, Stef’s langoustine ravioli under a foaming amber basil and citrus batter was old-school rich and tasty but my crab remoulade was a fridge-cold mousse in a cocktail glass, redolent of a shellfish-flavoured espresso martini. Bit grim. A third starter of baby artichokes à la barigoule with flakes of parmesan and a scattering of rocket was, on the other hand, exemplary." READ REVIEW

"So, the food: this is largely faultless... We shared the rib of Angus beef cooked rare — perfect — with decadent pommes purée and a side of market vegetables that looked like a wet weekend in Penge, but transpired to be adorable."
