Wolfgang Puck does like an exclusive pop-up. Last year he brought celebrity spot Spago's to London, and he's at it again. This time, it's the turn of his Santa Monica restaurant Chinois on Main, which is coming to Cut at 45 Park Lane for a three-day stint.
We're told it's "where Puck pioneered the birth of fusion between Asian flavours and French techniques in America" and we can expect dishes from the original 1983 menu of Chinois on Main too - Shanghai Lobster and Grilled Szechwan Beef. Alongside those, there will be dishes from some of his other restaurants, like WP24, including Roasted Cantonese Duck and Broiled Japanese Black Cod.
Puck is pretty proud of his original restaurant - "it’s the place everyone goes for Asian fusion in Santa Monica" so let's see how the 35-year-old restaurant does in London this summer.
