VOC Punch House transforming into VOC Grill

VOC Punch House transforming into VOC GrillThe VOC Punch house, a cocktail bar in King's Cross, is undergoing something of a transformation. The bar - created by Fluid Movement (also behind Purl) is adding a new grill right behind the existing punch house.

Inside, there will be a regularly changing menu with starting examples of dry aged ribeye steak (sous vide then grilled over almond and apple wood), chargrilled duck breast served with port infused cherry compote or an umami marinade and their addition to London's burger craze, the VOC Black Label burger (billed as "30 day aged steak on the bone, minced and mixed with mouth-watering spices and flavours, served with triple cooked chips").

Fish dishes will include pike with watercress and sea urchin powder or a simple John Dory. All of this will be backed up by VOC's cocktails beers, spirits and cigar collection to try in their courtyard space.

VOC Grill opens on June 14 in Varnishers Yard, King's Cross (bookings open on the 1st).
