Quality Chop House gets bigger - with a new butchers and shop

Quality Chop House gets bigger - with a new butchers and shop The return to form of the Quality Chop House has been one of the most welcome additions to Farringdon. Now it's about to get a little bit bigger with the addition of The Quality Chop House Butchers and Shop right next door.

The main focus of the shop will be the butchery which will give you a chance to buy the meat and game from the farms that supply the main restaurant. There will also be cured meats including duck ham and pancetta, smoked fish, Moon Green charcuteries, pork pies (we did love the QCH pork pie when we visited), terrines and some pre-prepared meals to take away.

On top of that, there are a whole load more treats available. There will be Quality Chop House made jams, chutneys, dressings, cordials and more as well as Neal's Yard cheeses. Plus there's the chance to pick up treats from the restaurant to take home including packs of salted caramel chocolates, marshmallows or their own version of a Crunchie bar. They'll soon be making cakes to order and you can expect mince pies and Christmas puddings before Christmas too.

It all sounds like something we'll definitely have to pop down to take a look at to stock up before the Christmas break.

The Quality Chop House Butchers and Shop opens officially in January - but you'll be able to get a sneak peek from 12 December. It's right next-door to the restaurant at 92-94 Farringdon Rd, London EC1R 3EA. Follow them on Twitter
