We've pretty early news on this one, but it's definitely one to watch. Earlier this year, chef Jonny Lake, left the Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck group where he'd been for 13 years, becoming Head Chef of the Fat Duck in 2009 (one of the UK's very few 3 Michelin starred restaurants) and ending as Executive Head Chef of the group. So he's quite a big deal.
Now it's been announced that his next venture will be in London and that he's also teaming up with another Fat Duck Alumni, Master Sommelier Isa Bal. He'd been at the Fat Duck for 12 years, eventually becoming Group Head Sommelier.
All we know at this point is that they're planning to open in 2019. And that's it. But the food and wine should be amazing. More details as we get it.
